Starie, the first superhero I ever conceptualized, represents my growth as a creative. Originating from a simple doodle at the age of eight—crafted with a No. 2 pencil and crayons—this character has since evolved through various mediums, from my pen-and-ink phase to digital illustrations on my iPad. Each revisit to Starie is a nostalgic exploration, allowing me to reflect on both the character’s growth and my own development as an artist. It’s a continuous reminder of the joy found in creativity and the transformation that comes with practice.
