Drawing inspiration from NYC's stooping culture, this modular coffee table was crafted to adapt to the spatial demands of the constant switching of apartments. Designed with knockdown elements, the table incorporates negative spaces to maximize storage while minimizing footprint. User-friendly fasteners allow for quick assembly and customization, and its flat-pack design ensures effortless portability. The table features a replaceable tabletop that can be swapped to suit different aesthetics. Initial 2D explorations emphasized modularity, storage efficiency, and diverse tabletop shapes, culminating in a prototype with a reclaimed door table top to showcase its adaptable form.
