Flowing with the body
Designing Barano the trans-radial prosthetic for swimming required an approach that balanced functionality with durability while still being aesthetically appealing. The process began with material selection, focusing on options that could withstand prolonged exposure to water. Creating an aerodynamic form was essential for propulsion, while ease of use remained a priority to ensure users could put it on and take it off with minimal effort. This design combines technical precision with an elegant form, resulting in a prosthetic that is as practical as it is visually engaging.
