Designing an ergonomic shell for a computer mouse involves more than just shaping the exterior. Starting with the dimensions of the internal components to make sure they fit, the process centers on creating a form that holds them while also complementing the natural hand posture, ensuring comfort for any user. Surface modeling techniques are the key to bringing this design to life, allowing one to create beautiful organic shapes, so that the mouse feels like an extension of the hand itself. While the mouse design I created is for right handed users it can easily be adapted into a left handed version.
